Manager, Inpatient and Day Treatment Program
Dual Diagnosis Program

Position Description:

Reporting to the Administrative Director, the manager of inpatient and day treatment programs will manage a 10-bed inpatient unit (including three acute care beds), day treatment program with 20 spaces, and consultation/liaison services for other CAMH units. With a strong administrative focus, you will coordinate clinical programming, schedule staff, supervise the interprofessional team, manage human resources, and monitor and analyze budgetary and statistical data. As a member of the program’s leadership team, you will participate in the strategic planning, growth, and development of a clinical teaching program, oversee the planning and implementation of a new partial hospital program and, in collaboration with the outpatient manager, act as an ambassador for the program. Within the Dual Diagnosis program where clinical research and education are closely integrated with service, you will benefit from a strong continuous learning mandate and be supported in your development with access to a certificate program in dual diagnosis and leadership development programs. Qualifications:
An emerging leader seeking not just a management role but a career step that is a foundation to further opportunities in the field of administration, you have a minimum of five years’ management and/or supervisory experience, clinical expertise, and a commitment to diversity and client-centred care. A baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred. Candidates with other health care profession qualifications will be considered. You must be registered in good standing with the appropriate regulatory college.
